Lambs Eat Ivy opening

Here’s the store front of Lambs Eat Ivy. It’s actually a “salon front”, since it’s not a store so much as a salon.

I was delighted to be invited to be artist of the month at Lambs Eat Ivy. What does that mean? I can hang doodles for the month and I get to show my work outside to the masses on the third Thursday of the month. Here are some photos from the set up of the inside show and the outside show. Lots of doodles were added after these photos were taken, so I need to go get even more photos. One thing I did different for this show, is I added some big paintings.

Like this one:

I love that frame. It’s a large vintage frame I’ve had a long, long time.

Here’s another large painting:

You can sort of get a sense of scale with this photo.

There were two medium sized paintings too:

The one on the right sold opening night! #yippee!

Here are some interior shots:

The Queen is there, in an inflatable frame.

The Boss’ station got “The Boss” of course.

Doodle + Coffee = Heaven.

Even the necessary room gets some doodles.

Now some shots of the Third Thursday event. This is before the crowds.

My pull down screens made an appearance.

They worked especially well behind the karaoke. This photo was taken by a pretty girl who was participating in a scavenger hunt Thornton Park was having that night:

One more:

It was a fun, if a little hot, and exciting show.

Father’s Day is this month, so Happy Father’s Day to all the dads. You make this a beautiful world. Thank you.
